Mushroom Nutmeg Grinder
I like to make different forms for my nutmeg grinders. You should try a little fresh ground nutmeg on sautéed wild mushrooms! The mechanisms come from Switzerland
Waldorf Barn
Waldorf Style Barn
Our son has been going to a Waldorf School since he was 6 months old. Every year we put on a large fundraiser and one year I made this barn for the auction. It’s made out of recycled redwood fencing and some scrap maple I had in my shop. The knitted animals were made by my wife (the wooden ones were not from me).
Hand Carved Rabbit
I carved this for my German born wife, because my nickname for her is “Hase” which means Hare (rabbit) in German. It’s carved from a thick piece of bark I found on my brother’s property up in the Sierra Nevada foothills.
Live Edge Oak Bowl
Live Edge Oak bowl
My largest live edge bowl to date, 10 1/2″ diameter. Beautiful grain patterns.
Magnolia Pod Bottle Stopper
I collected some magnolia pods a couple years ago and the thought I could try drying & stabilized them, and then add colored resin.
Bottle Stoppers
Living in Sonoma County wine country, I figured I needed to make bottle stoppers. Great as a small gift!
